JMC

Established in 1953 as the Jeil Moolsan Company, JMC is a global leader in saccharin and sulfur-based fine chemical manufacturing. In 2004, it became a part of the KISCO group. JMC is renowned for producing saccharin, a safe artificial sweetener that enables a significant reduction in sugar content. They supply saccharin to the world's largest, quality-focused multinational food and pharmaceutical companies. JMC employs the traditional Remsen and Fahlberg Process, dating back to 1879, for saccharin production, and they take pride in using high-purity raw materials such as OTSA (ortho-Toluenesulfonamide) while avoiding organic solvents in their production process. JMC's saccharin meets the rigorous food safety standard, FSSC 22000. Additionally, JMC manufactures fine chemicals for diverse applications, including fluorescent pigments, pharmaceutical intermediates, electronics, plastics, and agricultural products. They have expanded their expertise to mass-produce next-generation nanomaterial products like graphene oxide. Despite being headquartered in Korea, JMC has a global business presence, and they remain dedicated to understanding and meeting the needs of their customers.
