GA Torres, a renowned family-run business with over 50 years of experience in carob bean processing, is now managed by the third generation of the Torres family. Our production sites are located in Valencia, Spain, and its agricultural surroundings.
Our journey began with a simple production process, cutting carob beans for animal consumption and separating their seeds (garrofín) for industrial use. In 1983, GA Torres shifted its focus to adding value by calibrating and separating different sizes of chopped carob beans for export to Europe and the USA.
We further diversified our product range by introducing thermal and micronized processes, specializing in high-quality carob powder. Since 2014, GA Torres has operated a state-of-the-art factory and internal laboratory dedicated to producing premium carob gum.
