Deuterol 201 E is a defoaming dispersing agent for fillers and pigments in water soluble and water miscible primers and lacquers. The wetting effect of Deuterol 201 E in primers and one-coat lacquers, which are applied to badly degreased metal substrates, considerably improves the adhesion of the coating film to the metal substrate. The product also shows a defoaming effect in the manufacture as well in the processing of water dilutable systems.

Deuteron AP 348 is designed for the use in powder coatings.
An important feature of Deuteron AP 348 is the low viscosity of the fusion. It is a non-polar polyethylene wax with good toughness in spite of the high hardness. Surfaces of powder coatings containing Deuteron AP 348 show a remarkable slip resistance. This effect is shown by only a few waxes.
In some cases it has been noticed that the presence of Deuteron AP 348 in powder coatings improves their flow. This depends on the low softening respective melting point of this polyethylene wax and its limited compatibility with the used resins.
Deuteron ES 222 is a surface active additive. Its presence in a mixture of unsaturated polyester resin/reactive-solvent (styrene) helps in removing air-bubbles. This applies in particular after mixing resin and curing agent. Technologically useful is the improved wetting of the substrate, thus making it easier to release air bubbles from the substrate’s surface.
Because of the above mentioned properties Deuteron ES 222 is an effective wetting and air release agent in particular for laminating resins based on unsaturated polyester. The product is very suitable in laminating resins where excellent adhesion of polyester resins and glass fiber is required. Deuteron ES 222 is also very suitable as an air release agent in other systems based on unsaturated polyester resins.
