SYLYSIA 456F is a synthetically produced, amorphous, and micronized silica with high porosity and chemical purity. Produced at Fuji Silysia Chemical's Greenville, NC facility, it features an organic surface treatment to enhance sedimentation and mar resistance. It serves as a highly efficient matting agent for coatings and inks, producing uniform films while reducing gloss. The 400 treated series, known for high oil absorption and low bulk density, is used in resin and water-based paints, offering improved settling and mar resistance. In adhesive applications, SYLYSIA 456F increases adhesion strength, durability, and stabilizes viscosity, preventing stickiness and separation.
