Acesulfame Potassium Salt (Acesulfame K) is an odorless, white crystalline powder with an intensely sweet taste, approximately 200 times sweeter than sucrose. It is highly soluble in water (about 270 g/L at 20°C), and less soluble in acetone (about 0.8 g/L at 20°C) and ethanol (about 1 g/L at 20°C).

Nutrinova® Sorbic Acid, a food-grade preservative, appears as a white to yellowish-white crystalline powder.
