DEAA
DEAA has excellent compatibility and is soluble in various solvents, (soluble in n-hexane). When applied to corona-treated polypropylene surfaces, it wets the surface very well. DEAA homopolymer aqueous solutions have a LCST (Lower Critical Solubility Temperature) of around 30°C and undergo a reversible phase transition from soluble to insoluble around this temperature. Adhesion to plastics and metals is improved (e.g. PET, end-treated PET, PMMA, PC, glass, aluminium, copper).
