Inulin -P90 is a food ingredient consisting mainly of inulin, extracted from the natural, non-genetically modified chicory plant -roots, the root extract was purified and spray dried to form a fine to granular powder.Inulin is a non-digestible carbohydrate dietary fiber, consists of oligo and polysaccharides of fructose commonly referred as Fructan.It is commonly used as a prebiotic, fat replacer, sugar replacer, texture modifier and for the development of functional foods in order to improve health due to its beneficial role in gastric health.
